John Burson, Nutritionist

This is me in May, 2019. Just 4 months before 16/8 intermittent fasting within a healthy eating routine. I had finished up my BS degree after studying 3 years. During that time, my wife a two strokes and a broken hip. I had to take care of her, work and grind in school. Needless to say, my diet and exercise routine suffered. I managed to keep up a decent exercise routine, but I definitely slacked on my diet. At this time, it was time to get back my cuts. Being a long time nutritionist and personal trainer, getting back into form would not be a problem for me to get back into a healthy eating routine. However, I chose this time to test one of my theories.

I believed that a person could lose weight and look terrific without fad diets and super hard workouts. Luckily, at the same time, I started researching the 16/8 intermittent fasting diet within a healthy eating routine. I particularly liked the 16/8 intermittent fasting routine. So, without changing my exercise routine too much, I started my new healthy eating routine of essentially eating nutritious foods and fasting 16 hours daily. My start weight was 201 lbs. My waist measurement was 34 inches.
